Jobs

Thinking about after graduation I have already started to look for jobs available in the North East; I have mainly looked on job websites such as Indeed, which often posts new photography jobs. I have signed up for email notifications to inform me when a new job is posted. Some of the recent postings include:

Studio Manager
Term Time Childrens Photographer
Marketing Assistant
Photography Assistant
Teacher
Nightlife Photographer

These are just a few of the jobs that have been posted on Indeed, to apply for these I will need a CV and for some of them they require a few years of experience.  I am going to be looking at the smaller job applications to build up my experience so that I am more prepared and look more desirable to employers.

Creative CV

This is my creative CV, this CV documents all my photography specific jobs and skills, and this CV makes me look a lot more desirable to photography specific employers.

I have had many photography specific jobs including wedding, private events and many family shoots. I have listed both transferrable and desirable skills alongside photography-specialised skills, as these are all relevant to the jobs I would be applying for. I have listed the types of photography I have done along with key skills and my responsibilities that I have had during that job. I have still listed my education although on this CV it is not a priority and as such has been placed last.

Professional CV

I have made a professional CV that documents my professional level skills, training and qualifications. Making this CV has made me realise how little I have done to make myself appealing for employers, I am working on changing this now but I am unsure as to whether I will be considered for jobs since I have no previous experience. An option for making me look more appealing is looking for volunteering opportunities.
I have kept a simple design to make my CV easily readable and understandable.  I have used different sections such as Education and Skills to show that although I have not had a job I still have transferrable skills.
