I was contacted by a small start-up business; this business creates glittery glassware. I photographed three different products which she supplied me with, she supplied them over the weekend and asked that I return them as soon as possible, I then photographed them on the Monday night because I already had the studio booked and returned them on the Tuesday. It took me a little while longer to edit and retouch the photographs but I supplied her with around 20 images of the three products, she was pleased with the outcomes and has agreed to work with me in the future when she has more products available.

Shooting the glass was easy as I had some previous experience from the Still Life Module in second year, I used two lights shooting towards white foam boards and used the reflected light to light the glass so that there was no harsh reflections or blown out highlights.

I photographed all three products on both white and black backgrounds as I did not know what she would want, this way she has options and I also included some photographs of them using a spotlight effect on the background as a more creative and artistic style because these were my preference.

She received the photographs on a disc that used one of the glassware photographs as a cover image, I also used the text from her business card so that the branding matched and looked professional.
